T-Create Expert releases the first V90-rated SD card at 2 terabytes

For those who need a V90-rated SD card for high-resolution video with high capacity - Taiwanese Team Group releases one with a full 2 TB.

We have become accustomed to specifications constantly getting better and better, both in terms of space and speed of memories and memory cards. Now, the manufacturer Team Group from Taiwan takes a step forward and releases a fast SD card with UHS-II specification.

With its size of 2 terabytes, the memory card becomes the first of its size to meet the requirements for the V90 class, meaning that the card can write continuously at at least 90 megabytes per second, which is needed for, for example, high-resolution video.

The memory card is called T-Create Expert SDXC UHS-II U3 V90 and supports read speeds up to 300 MB/s and write speeds of 260 MB/s. The card is also supposed to be IP67-rated, and both dust and waterproof for up to 30 minutes submerged to a depth of 1 meter.

Team Group writes in a press release that "the card can record in the highest 6K resolution at 59.94p for up to two hours and 8 minutes" with a Canon EOS C400.
