Sony A7R VI släppt – bättre video & snabbare autofokus i 66 megapixlar
Sony släpper nu nästa generations högupplösta kamera i sitt A7R-segment – denna gång med fokus på förbättrad video, snabbare autofokus och fler uppgraderade funktioner för den som behöver hög upplösning.
Sony släpper nu A7R VI – en efterföljare till hyllade Sony A7R V som släpptes för dryga tre år sedan – med flera förbättringar mot föregångaren.
Den stackade sensorn i fullformat med en upplösning på 66,8 megapixlar kan nu hantera informationen snabbare, vilket innebär en ökning från 7 bilder per sekund i 12 bitar hos A7R V till 30 bilder per sekund i 14 bitar med elektronisk sökare. För mekanisk sökare förblir seriebildstagningen densamma på 10 bilder per sekund, men ökar bitdjupet till 14 bitar från tidigare 12 bitar. A7R VI har liksom flaggskeppet Sony A1 II även blackout-fri sökare.

Sony förklarar det som att även om bildsensorn är stackad så skiljer den sig från designen hos A1 II och A9 III, vilket gör att den inte når samma nivå – men ändå kan processa större mängder data än föregångaren.
Sony A7R VI:s buffer klarar av upp till 535 bilder i bufferten vid 10 bilder per sekund Pre-capture-funktionen innebär att kameran kan fotografera i 30 bilder per sekund i upp till en sekund innan man trycker på avtryckaren, vilket innebär att man kan få bilder där man inte hunnit trycka på avtryckaren.
Autofokusen har förbättrats på flera vis. Bland annat kan man hos A7R VI sttälla in både känsligheten för AF-trackingen med Stabil, Standard eller Responsiv. Samtidigt har autofokusen blivit mer ljuskänslig – nu ned till -6 EV eller ned till -11 EV med inställningen "Bright Monitoring" för exempelvis astrofoto.
Fasdetekterande autofokus fungerar upp till F22 precis som hos A7R V, men nytt är möjligheten att ställa in storleken på autofokusrutan till både XL eller XS samt att kunna justera dessa med reglagen på ett snabbare vis. Antal fokuspunkter är 759, som täcker 94 procent av bildytan.
Kameran kan nu även känna igen mindre motiv i bilden för att låsa följande autofokus. Samtidigt har den även smartare igenkänning av motivet för att lyckas hålla rätt person i fokus i exempelvis en folksamling, eller under sport där olika personer springer omlott.
För video har kamera nu fått 8K/30p, översamplat från 8,2K (med 1.2x beskärning), 4K/120p60p/30p (5K översamplat). I Super35-läge går det att få ut 4K/60p utan beskuret läge, eller 4K/120p med 1.4x beskärning. Nytt är även läget för 4K-angle of view, en funktion som gör at man kan välja ut delar av bilden utan att flytta kameran. Sony A7R VI har även Dual Gain för att minska brus i olika ljusstyrkor, något som ökar det dynamiska omfånget i skuggorna.
För livesändning klarar kameran av 4K/30p via UVC. Skärmen är samma som hos A7R V med 9,44 miljoner bildpunkter och stöd för DCI P3 – samtidigt som den ska vara tre gångar ljusstarkare och har stöd för HDR. Även knapparna på baksidan är upplysta, vilket hjälper den som fotograferar i mörker.
Nytt hos A7R VI är även möjigheten till auto-framing som vi sett sedan tidigare i Sonys vlogg-kameror, samt möjligheten till LUT-import, monitor-LUT samt en tally-lampa som påvisar inspelningen. Även bildstabilieringen har förbättrats till dynamiskt aktiv, för att kunna användas när det behövs. Kameran har även fullstor HDMI-kontakt.
Sony A7R VI får även ett nytt batteri, ny laddare samt ett nytt batterigrepp.
Sony A7R VI har ett rekommenderat pris på 58 000 kronor. Kameran finns tillgänglig från juni 2026.
Sony Accelerates High-Resolution Photography with the Alpha 7R VI
