Manfrotto One Hybrid Tripod - professional tripod for hybrid photographers

Manfrotto is targeting hybrid photographers by developing a tripod system that suits both film and video photographers. The hybrid tripod, such as the Manfrotto One Hybrid Tripod, which is released in carbon fiber and aluminum, aims to solve the problems a hybrid photographer faces by needing to use two different tripods depending on whether they are filming or photographing.

Hybrid tripods have been on the market for a while, but Manfrotto has redesigned the support system based on feedback from their users. Among other things, the support legs have been redesigned into ovals, which improves the rigidity of the construction compared to round tripod legs, which is beneficial for panning, for example.

The Xtend mechanism simplifies the opening of all leg sections for quick setup. Additionally, the center column can be adjusted horizontally, finely tuned precisely, removed for low ground-level photography, and adjusted vertically.

The Xchange system allows you to quickly change the tripod head to switch between film or still image heads easily. With the 500X Fluid Video Head, both types of use are accommodated with the possibility of smooth panning, selectable balancing for cameras around 2.4 kilos, and quick switches between portrait and landscape photography.

Manfrotto One Hybrid Tripod costs 4,999 SEK including VAT (aluminum), with the video head 6,999 SEK. The carbon fiber version costs 7,299 SEK including VAT, in a kit with a tripod head 8,999 SEK.

The tripod head separately costs 2,199 SEK including VAT and the tripod adapter kit with base + adapter plate costs 599 SEK including VAT.
